Live Governed AI-Assisted Delivery Platform

Enhancial Project & Delivery Workspace (EPDW)

EPDW is Enhancial's live multi-tenant project and delivery workspace for complex, approval-led and evidence-led work, including bounded AI-assisted project setup.

Project snapshot

The engagement at a glance.

System type

Live governed AI-assisted delivery platform

Starting point

A need for a multi-tenant project and delivery workspace that could govern complex, approval-led and evidence-led work.

Design scope

Combine portfolio and project management, controlled deliverables, formal gates, permissions, evidence and bounded AI-assisted project setup.

Main challenge

Use AI to help prepare project structures without allowing it to approve deliverables, decide gates, alter permissions or treat generated text as verified evidence.

Outputs

Governance-first hierarchy, controlled deliverables, evidence, decisions, approvals, gates, permissions, audit records, reporting and AI-assisted setup.

Status

Live and used as Enhancial's operational project / delivery workspace.

Starting point

Where the project began.

EPDW was created to give Enhancial a live workspace for complex, approval-led and evidence-led delivery. The platform needed to support organisation, portfolio, project, delivery route, phase and work-item hierarchy while preserving traceability across evidence, decisions, approvals and gates.

The challenge

The design problem.

  • Complex work needed a governance-first hierarchy from organisation to work item
  • Deliverables, evidence, decisions, approvals and gates needed to be controlled and traceable
  • Client collaboration required permissioned access and audit records
  • AI-assisted setup needed to remain bounded and non-authoritative
  • Generated text could not be treated as verified evidence or final approval
Enhancial's role

What Enhancial did.

EPDW was designed through Enhancial's AI-driven, human-governed system-development method. The resulting platform combines portfolio and project management, controlled deliverables, formal gates, permissions, evidence and bounded AI-assisted project setup.

AI-assisted project setup can analyse uploaded briefs, extract requirements and constraints, recommend delivery structures and prepare structured project blueprints. Approved blueprints can then be activated into governed project structures.

Design approach

How the system was structured.

  1. Governance-first delivery model

Organisation, portfolio, project, delivery route, phase and work item were structured into a traceable hierarchy.

  2. Controlled evidence and approvals

Deliverables, evidence, decisions, approvals and gates were designed as first-class operating objects.

  3. Bounded AI-assisted setup

AI can analyse uploaded briefs, extract requirements and prepare project blueprints, but cannot approve or activate consequential outcomes by itself.

  4. Operational workspace

EPDW is live and used as Enhancial's operational project and delivery workspace.

Design outputs

What was produced.

  • Organisation to work-item hierarchy
  • Portfolio and project management
  • Controlled deliverables
  • Evidence, decision and approval records
  • Formal gates
  • Permissioned access
  • Audit records
  • Reporting
  • AI-assisted project setup
Outcome

What the design made possible.

EPDW is live and used as Enhancial's operational project / delivery workspace. AI cannot autonomously approve deliverables, decide gates, alter permissions, publish client material, deploy software or treat generated text as verified evidence.

What this proves

The capability behind the work.

  • AI-assisted setup can support project mobilisation without replacing project authority.
  • Evidence, decisions, approvals and gates can be designed into project delivery tooling.
  • Permissioned client collaboration can sit inside a governed delivery workspace.
  • AI-generated blueprints require approval before becoming active project structures.
  • Governed AI capability can be embedded in operational platforms with explicit limits.
Proof

Evidence and context.

  • Live operational workspace
  • Multi-tenant project and delivery hierarchy
  • Controlled deliverables and formal gates
  • Traceable approvals and audit records
  • Bounded AI-assisted project setup
